My Hobby Lovey Store

Crocheting is one of my hobby. I am not that good at it but when I came here, I started to learn to crochet different stuff and some people liked my work and so I came up of selling it thru my friends and then until I started to sell online too!

Here’s my ONLINE STORE and I called it HOBBY LOVEY which means ‘for the love of art’ inspired from the store Hobby Lobby.

I am selling crochet hats, beanies, scarf, bags and other stuff that my client would ask me to do like tutus and bows. I am selling it with very affordable prices, most of them were made to orders with the customer’s preferred color combination and sizes. I also have ready made and ready to ship once ordered and paid.

Welcome to MONey-KEY Business!

It’s ALL PURE BUSINESS okay, no MONKEY BUSINESS!

I made this blog to share how to be able to earn money in so many ways. 21 years ago before my Papa (father) died, I overheard him telling his friends that I am going to be a business woman someday. I feel so proud that time coz at that age, I have this small store already. I am selling chocolates and candies hanged in our window and so few weeks later my Papa made our terrace into a STORE, my store! That was my first business but few months or I guess weeks passed, my Papa passed away. He just made sure we have a house and I learned how to earn money before he left us. I was 9 back then and everything he said was repeatedly playing in my mind. My Papa’s words are so strong coz even he died early, I was able to use my being business minded to live. When I was in Elementary, I was able to invent my own Christmas Lantern using a straw and sold it to my classmates and other students. I experienced to sell ‘Halo Halo’ ( popular Filipino dessert that is a mixture of shaved ice and evaporated milk to which are added various boiled sweet beans and fruits, and served in a tall glass or bowl), ‘MIKI’ (Ilocos Region Style Egg Noodle Soup) and many more depends on the season. With all these things, no body thought me but my self. I guess it’s in me already. My latest business was selling crochet stuff online but before this, I had a small Siomai Cart in the Philippines. I didn’t pursue it coz I have two kids to take care of and I was busy with my Real Estate Business at the same time.

It’s nice to remember such simple things that helped me in so many ways. I may not become rich by now but I am sure that with just enough  self confidence, creativity, ability to get things done, perseverance or ability to lead and self reliance, I am sure I will succeed someday.

Start your business now, no matter how small it is, no matter how many you get to fail. Don’t forget “Success is often achieved by those who don’t know that failure is inevitable”.

Money is just right in front of you, learn how to grab it!
